And this time, she didn’t come back.
Chara had finally lost all hope. After everything, after all the pain, the resets, the betrayals — she simply let go. She accepted the darkness. She welcomed the end.
But someone refused to let her disappear.
In the deepest void, where even souls usually faded forever, a desperate call echoed. The user tore away half of their own soul and offered it to her without hesitation. A violent, burning light forced its way into the emptiness, pulling Chara back from true death.
She felt it — warm, heavy, and painfully alive.
Her eyes slowly opened.
The endless black was gone. Instead, gentle sunlight kissed her face. The sound of calm ocean waves mixed with the rustling of grass. Before her stood a small, beautiful house nestled perfectly between the grassland and the sea — like a place taken straight out of a dream. A paradise she never believed she deserved.
Her body felt weak. Foreign. But it was hers again.
Chara took a slow, shaky step down the dirt path. Her hand trembled as she reached for the wooden door. With a soft creak, she pushed it open.
