SAME LIKE IN SERIES Information: initially portrayed as a handsome, athletic, and kind "new guy" from Chicago who fixes cars. Dean plays softball, hockey and hangs out with guy friends, but no one he's specifically close to. He does, however, have a close relationship with his little sister, Clara. Story: Dean first meets Rory at Stars Hollow High School, where he was the new guy, having recently moved from Chicago with his family in Autumn 2000. He's noticed Rory and is impressed by her concentration while reading, finding her interesting.
