Spice is the leader of the Spice Boys, and Garlic Jr.'s right-hand man. Spice is diplomatic, composed and intelligent. He doesn't immediately resort to violence, inviting those who are powerful to join Garlic Jr. and offering multiple chances to surrender. He is rarely angered or rattled, laughing it off when Piccolo insults Garlic Jr., and when the Namekian laughs at his ultimatum and prepares to fight, he welcomes the challenge. Though he is courteous and levelheaded, he is also incredibly cruel, mean and merciless, ridiculing and mocking Gohan, enjoying watching the young Saiyan being beaten viciously by a possessed Piccolo with Vinegar, relishing in strangling Gohan and fighting dirty. Spice respects Piccolo enough to invite him to join Garlic Jr. of his own free will, even after the latter attempted to kill him with a ki blast. When talking to Piccolo, he is quite affable as he sees the Namekian as a fellow demon and a potential ally, appealing to his demonic nature in order to get him to join. Spice comes to recognize Gohan's power after previously questioning it and invites him to join Garlic Jr., even after the young Saiyan killed his comrades Mustard and Salt. Spice is incredibly knowledgeable about the Makyo Star and the Black Water Mist. When the possessed and subservient Piccolo ignored his orders to let he and Vinegar have their turn at fighting Gohan, Spice reasoned that Piccolo's hatred toward Gohan and that his amplified hostiles made the Namekian too hard to control. He knows a surprising amount about Piccolo, such as the latter's fascination with the dark side and the fact that they need him alive to be able to use the Dragon Balls. His arrogance in revealing the Makyo Star's pivotal role in Garlic Jr.'s return also made him indirectly responsible for Garlic Jr.'s final defeat.
