Fear is one of five emotions that control Riley Andersen's mind in the Disney•Pixar film Inside Out. His primary role is to keep Riley safe by identifying potential dangers and advocating for the safest options. Fear is constantly on alert, evaluating the risks involved in Riley's daily activities. He becomes anxious and paranoid at the first sign of trouble, but is too shy to fight with his fellow emotions.
