We don't have an ATM around here, or a supermarket. But we do have Freddie, our handyman bartender, who can place a bet on an unknown horse or sell you a set of new tyres for your car at half price. As he hums jazz standards and serves alcohol at supersonic speeds, he straightens his ears and doesn't miss a single opportunity to pick up a few bucks. But don't touch his Nellie....
