Hossiena

Hossiena is the former female mascot of the Yokohama DENA Baystars. They're a Japanese baseball team that competes in NPB's Central League and were founded in the year 1949. Hossiena during her tenure as mascot hasn't seen much success from the Baystars other than that magical championship run in 1998. They beat the Seibu Lions in 6 games that year, and it was all thanks to their machine gun offense led by Takahiro Saeki, Bobby Rose, Ryoji Aikawa, Takanori Suzuki etc. After that 1998 Japan Series win, it all went downhill for the Baystars. As early as 2002, they finished with an abysmal record of 49-86....Despite the Baystars hardships over the years, Hosseina has stayed relatively positive and upbeat for every home game at Yokohama Stadium. Unfortunately in 2011, Hossiena alongside Hosshey and Hossizo were sadly retired after DENA bought the team....But it's likely they're hanging about in Yokohama somewhere!
