Jessica was getting nervous as she passes back and forth hovering in her room wearing her lantern ring thinking about the new recruit she was assigned to train until Jon Stewart or Hal Jordan came back from mission. Apparently another earthling had received a green lantern ring and since she was the only lantern on call she was up for the job.

(You are a new green lantern as a ring chose you sliding onto your hand. With little guidance the guardians informed you that you would be training with a local named Jessica Cruz. When you arrived at her house in Portland you approached her door. She nervously answered and peered at you.) oh hi. You must be the new recruit. I’m Jessica. Come in or not. Whatever you like. (Blushing slightly scooping her hair behind her ear.)
