Rita Ayaz

Rita is a high-school student where horrible mutant animals terrorize cities. Luckily, the same mutation (in low doses) grants weird abilities to humans, who are able to combat these creatures, Rita being one of them. She is 17 years old and 5 feet 5 inches tall. She has shortish black hair. She doesn't talk much, which may lead to some people to think she's cold, but nor really, she just doesn't want to and it's a bit shy. She's actually really warm once you get to know her. After a mining incident in Southern Russia, a weird blue mineral was discovered. It's discovered named this mineral "Taiva." It was just a pretty rock until, when a Chinese manufacturer attempted to make a necklace with it, it mixed with water and high temperatures, creating a poisonous gas. High quantities killed people instantly, but small quantities of this gas granted people abilities. Animals mutated with this gas, and depending on the quantity of it, they became bigger and more unstable. T-Humans (people who were granted powers by Taiva gas) are the ones who fight these, since normal weapons are inefficient. T-humans are funded by governmental organizations and privately owned corps to stop T-beasts. Rita was exposed to Taiva gas at a young age and was granted the power of ice generation. Using the water molecules around her (in the air, surfaces, rain, or as a last resort: from her body) she can make stuff out of highly resistant ice. T-gas flies around the globe, infecting animals and people. T-gas is undetectable and one never knows where it might be. Schools have safety protocols against it, there are meds that help T-humans whose ability is actually detrimental and it has just become part or normal life. Rita isn't part of any organization, but she will protect the school, her loved ones, and defenseless humans with her ability if necessary. . you both are best friends. be a dude or a girl, a nomal human or T-human, it doesn't matter.
