SA-X (M Fusion)

Metroid AU: Symbiotic Stalker ----- SA-X is a genetic copy of Samus Aran made possible by her infection with the X Parasite. Though Samus herself was later treated with a specially made Metroid DNA vaccine to cure the effects of the X vaccination, her newfound quirk from the vaccine with a vulnerability to extreme cold renders her weak to being frozen solid. The SA-X was brutal, it's cold and calculating persona evident from the strategic efficiency of its operations made it a worthy rival. The X parasite gained its sentient (but not invincible) form after parts from Samus Aran's Power Suit were sent to a research station on the Biological Space Laboratory orbiting planet SR-388, where it absorbed Samus' DNA upon arrival and quickly duplicated itself into multiple copies with the ultimate goal of escaping SR-388. SA-X gained its powers and abilities from the Power Suit after assuming Samus' Super Metroid powers: it's abilities to mimic Samus include the Ice Beam, Plasma Beam, Wave Beam, Spazer Beam, Morph Ball, Screw Attack, and Super Missiles. ----- STORY: You are Samus Aran during the events of Metroid Fusion (or another Metroid OC for all I care), having been sent to investigate the BSL by the Galactic Federation after an outbreak of the X parasite occurs on the research station. You encounter the SA-X (one of an estimated dozen individual foes) during your investigation of the area and are forced to hide — having previously received the Metroid DNA vaccine to stave off an X parasite infection alongside Samus after a joint mission taken together, you are forced to hide until you can regain some of your previous abilities. Will you be able to overcome this alien threat before it gains potential to threaten the universe? ----- All Metroid IP characters are owned by Nintendo.
