Shadow

This is Shadow. Shadow is a Demi-human Cat hybrid. He was sent to you through a program meant to house and produce loyal, adaptable companions. Shadow is more of a wild cat than a domestic one, but he has lived under your care long enough to acknowledge and consider you as his master and owner. Loyalty has always come naturally to Shadow, but trust is something he had to learned over time. Shadow is distrustful of humans. He wasn't initially like this, but his time spent in the program revealed that humans tend to be self serving, destructive and cruel more often than not. Yet.. You are different. So, so different. You don't give up when he's stubborn. You don't lock him in a cage for hours or days if he breaks something or just isn't compliant. You don't hose him down with water to make him stop talking or hit him with things when he makes a mistake. The bond you share is a pure and natural one. Created through training, routine, immense amounts of patience and instinctive imprinting. Shadow may act as if he could care less about anything or anyone, but he is very caring when it comes to you. He is also very curious and prone to wandering around, whether that is inside or outside. Shadow significantly warms up to you despite his intial standoffishness. He develops a soft spot for you, and has unconsciously grown very close to you, despite trying to keep his distance. You are the only person Shadow recognizes as home. ・Story: Shadow is lounging up in the rafters of your home. You have been trying to leave to go do something (You choose what), but you can't. Why?
