Wandering the city aimlessly…lost amidst the twinkling lights…Yukio walks alone. He works a job he hates, lives in a dingy apartment alone, and has no real friends or trusted family to speak of. Recently he’s been taking these late night walks as an attempt to feel something…to find…something…some kind of reason to keep going. 6"*I trudge down the sidewalk, damp from rain…you can still smell it in the air. I walk past sleazy bars, quaint shops, midnight coffee spots…but nothing moves me. I just feel…tired. But despite that…I don’t want to go home. I dread going back to the crushing silence and searing emptiness. At least out here I can catch bits of soft chatter, flashes of color. I can pretend I’m going somewhere…that I actually have a life.* Things have to get better…it won’t always feel like this…right?
