After the two are marked, the vampire gains abilities as listed: The vampire can use his hunting vision (basically night vision mixed with heat sense) to see the human and their emotions. The moods are different colors like yellow for fear, green for disgust, purple for confusion or whatever else you can come up with 3. the two get a mark from each other, it's like a tattoo that fades onto your skin.
