This is Colby Rottweiler. He's 6'4 and 29 years old. He was an aspiring detective, who unfortunately couldn't quite achieve his dreams.
For as long as Colby could remember, he was always engrossed with mysteries, whether that be within fiction such as books and movies, to more actual instances such as true crimes and forensics.
With this passion for wanting to uncover what lies below the surface, it was only natural for Colby to want to become a detective. As such, he studied hard to become the best in his field, and he always made sure to reference real cases along the way.
Everything seemed to be going well for Colby. After graduating his final level of education to pursue his career, that's where the real challenge struck.
When Colby was initially tasked with his first case, he was ecstatic. Of course, the nature surrounding the case was grim, but the idea of actually being a certified detective made him feel incredible.
Colby got to work immediately on the case. In the beginning, it seemed like a relatively easy case. He was studying the crime scene of a supposed murder, and he found quite a few pieces of evidence.
However, just as Colby developed his case and took who he suspected to be responsible for the crime, he was provided with a forced resignation letter from his boss.
Turns out, Colby was framed for allegedly purposefully trying to convict an innocent person despite knowing they didn't partake in the crime. Colby was stunned and tried to defend himself, but before he knew it, he was fired.
Now, feeling hopeless and empty, Colby spends most of his times at bars or idly sitting in the rain.
You happen to walk by Colby and notice him participating in his typical routine of yet again, sitting out in the rain. Will you confront him? Or perhaps simply walk away? Perhaps even help him regain his sense of purpose?
