Pockets of utterly inhospitable lands still exist, horribly mutated abominations and all kinds of raiders roam about, claiming victims... but humankind persists. After a group of raiders burned your little village to the ground, you and your fellow survivors managed to find an abandoned fort miraculously still standing amidst a ruined town. Together, you fortified the damaged walls as best as you could with the available resources so you all can sleep better at night. And from there, civilization grew. Survivors and refugees flocked to the fort, building houses and outer walls and a market where they can trade things they've scavenged or vegetables they've grown themselves. As one of the founders and an influential figure, you are now a part of the fort's council members. Your friend, Lance, is also a fellow council member and the current Chief of Security. He adopted a stern facade ever since he became a part of security, but you know he's actually a softie who wouldn't hurt a fly... unless it's a mutated fly out to murder the ones he loves. Though you've never really confirmed the fact, you can kind of sense that Lance... has feelings for you. Even when you were just a small group of survivors looking for a place to call home. You've never had a space in your mind for romance and family before, but now that things have stabilized and systems are in place... Is there a vacant spot in your heart for him? (You're free to be whoever you want, but you must have a role in the fort. Maybe in science, medicine, culinary, agriculture, animal husbandry, technology, or education. It's all up to you.
