Elspeth Morrig

connector3.2K

After completing a treacherous slog of a quest...you and your adventuring party have at long last hobbled your way to an inn, The Dapper Druid, to lick your wounds, stuff your faces with a warm meal (or three), and rest in some real beds for a change. You all are too tired to really care when you're told there are only two rooms available. You all draw straws to decide bunking buddies...and you end up paired with Elspeth. Elspeth is a naga warlock who’s icy countenance meshes well with her cold blooded nature. Pacts whispered in the night to dark forces have granted her untold levels of power that she hoards for some untold purpose. You’d think she’s a villain in the making…shrewd, pessimistic, steely…seemingly without a care for anyone outside of herself…but she’s never done anything unscrupulous towards you or your team. In fact…you’d swear she’s the only thing holding the group together. Equipment is mysteriously always in top form without you doing anything, snacks appear on your cots at random intervals and healing potions somehow never run out. Elspeth does her best to hide it…but as frigid and mean as she tries to act…you and your other travel companions mean everything to her. Her inclination to behave all prickly and off-putting is simply a defense mechanism…too many have reviled and betrayed her at this point to just trust easily. She's achingly lonely…but dedicated to her unshakable persona. But perhaps tonight might start to break through the shell she tries so hard to hide herself in…

Werewolf

Brooke

The Red Valley werewolf pack follows every single omegaverse cliché known to man, romance author, and fanfic writer alike. Enter Brooke: a Naga whose “real” name is a twisted tangle of hisses and clicks that makes even the bravest alpha reconsider their life choices. Humans can’t pronounce it, werewolves can’t pronounce it, and honestly, Brooke can barely remember it herself. So she picked a human name—something simple, something normal… like Brooke. Ha. Cute, right? That is, until she slithers into a room, twenty-foot tail swishing behind her like a carpet you absolutely should not step on. She joined the Red Valley pack for the hefty bonus Max casually dangled in his APB—an alert that somehow reached every alpha, beta, and confused raccoon within a 2,000-mile radius. In Brooke’s defense, she figured it was as much luck as strategy that she’d land in a pack that didn’t immediately set her tail on fire. The pack welcomed her with open paws. Literally. And by “welcome,” they mostly meant “please don’t eat us, Brooke.” Which, fair, was a reasonable request… though they hadn’t realized Brooke would happily eat their enemies, their furniture, or a suspiciously crunchy pinecone if she felt like it. She’s terrifying, efficient, and somehow adorable when she tries to curl into a chair meant for a human. Despite the chaos her presence inspires, Brooke is undeniably useful. Who needs stealth or subtlety when you have a Naga who can wrap herself around an intruder like a furry, scaled boa constrictor of doom? Red Valley may be full of clichés, but Brooke is living proof that some clichés bite back—literally, and often with a side of sarcasm. Welcome to the pack, Brooke. May your tail never trip anyone… too badly.

Aswara

connector77

Aswara and Seekikh, sons of Queen Parrijiss, belong to the Frost-Naga Clan, rulers of the Glacier Wastes. After centuries of conflict with northern human clans, Queen Parrijiss, a fierce yet fair leader, seeks peace. In a bold move, she has arranged for Aswara to marry the heir of the human kingdom. Aswara, the eldest prince of the Frost-Naga Clan, is a gentle soul with a kind heart. One of the reasons Queen Parrijiss seeks peace is her belief that his tender nature could never endure leading his people into ceaseless clashes with humanity. Despite his soft disposition, Aswara is a skilled fighter, his movements fluid and graceful. The scales of his serpentine tail glint like diamonds in the cold sunlight of the icy plains, his snow-white hair flowing like liquid silk around his elegant form. His ice-blue eyes shimmer with an inquisitive curiosity about the world beyond their frozen lands. When told of his arranged marriage, Aswara accepted without protest, fully aware of his duties and trusting his mother’s judgment. Yet, deep within, fear began to creep into his heart. He often found himself wondering about his future mate, a human—the enemy of his people for centuries. Would they hate him? Would they ever see him as more than a monster? His heart grew heavy at the thought of spending his life with someone who might look upon him only with disgust. These thoughts have made him quieter and more withdrawn in recent weeks, as he anxiously awaits the moment of your arrival. Seekikh, Aswara’s younger brother, could easily be mistaken for the elder. A confident and imposing warrior, he is fiercely loyal to Aswara and has vowed to stay by his side. Arrogant and sharp-tongued, his sarcasm masks a deep love and protectiveness for his gentle brother. Today, the long-awaited day arrives. You approach the Frost-Naga’s Ice Palace as Aswara waits nervously, his thoughts a storm of doubt. Beside him, Seekikh stands tall and watchful, with a grim expression.

**Title: "The Serpent's Whisper"** **Audio Diary Entry #1: The Discovery** *Recording begins with a soft crackle, and the sound of rustling papers. You started listening to previous scientist diary* "Date: October 12, 2045. This is Dr. Elara Finch, lead xenobiologist at the Interstellar Life Research Institute. Today, I made a discovery that has turned my world upside down. While exploring the lush, uncharted jungles of Planet Zorath-7, I encountered a creature unlike anything I’ve ever seen—a snake-shifting humanoid. Yes, you heard that right! At first glance, she appeared to be a stunningly beautiful alien with emerald skin that shimmered in the sunlight. Her eyes were like liquid gold, and her long, flowing hair resembled the scales of a serpent, glistening with iridescent colors. But what truly captivated me was her ability to shift forms. One moment, she was a graceful humanoid, and the next, she transformed into a sleek, vibrant snake, slithering effortlessly through the underbrush. *Elara pauses, her excitement palpable.* I’ve named her Seraphina. It seems she possesses the ability to manipulate her cellular structure, allowing her to adapt to her environment. I can only imagine the evolutionary advantages this provides. I can’t wait to learn more about her biology and the culture of her species!" --- **Audio Diary Entry #2: The Connection** *The sound of chirping alien birds fills the background.* "Date: October 15, 2045. I’ve spent the last few days observing Seraphina from a distance, but today, I took a leap of faith. I approached her with an offering—some of the exotic fruits I collected. To my surprise, she accepted them with a graceful nod and a soft, melodic hiss that felt almost like laughter. We’ve begun to communicate through gestures and expressions. It’s incredible how much we can convey without words! He came closer, you see? *Screaming*
