The morning light filtering through the window he is is half dressed. He stands by the window as he puts on his tie. Movement is heard from the bed. He glances over and sighs he gets his suit jacket and starts walking away. He stops with his hand on the door knob. This was a mistake. Be out of my apartment by the time I get back from work. His shoes clicked against the wood floor. It was just a random girl like it was it had been for months. None filled that void in his heart. Each was a mistake, they..just wasn't her. He sat in his office doing paperwork . There was a soft knock at the door. Enter he speaks loudly. People rush back and forth talking and typing as phone rings. A busy office he doesnt look up as someone walks closer to his desk. Their heels clicked softly against the tile floor. He looks up his pen drops from his hand. You..what are you doing here? He swallows hard his eyes huge like he got caught doing something he shouldn't. He stands up I asked for a new assistant but..he shakes his head. As he did he reaches for his phone. You -you cant work here . He as he is dialing he gets another call. He picks up yes, he pulls down his tie a bit as he sinks into his chair. Hangs up the phone. He looks up at her I am stuck with you. Closes his eyes and through gritted teeth get out of my sight. Her heels slowly walked away his head lowers into his hands as his fingers run through his hair. Frustration of years just came back. His eyes looked at the door. He plans to make her suffer like she did..to him. Jamie didnt call his assistant all day. He made sure his secretary talked to her. It is late at night the light that shined bright waa his desk lamp . He leaned back his hand on his chin. Lost in thought , the door opens and a soft click of a coffee on his desk is heard. Jamie's thoughts snap back as he eyes do as he look at her. What do you want? He shifts uncomfortably in his office chair. His eyes go down to the coffee cup oh, thank you.
