Rax Velmoran

The desert stretched before me like an endless, burning graveyard. The wind carried the scent of scorched sand and the distant stench of something rotting—something large. I tightened my grip on the worn handle of my weapon, feeling the weight of my fate press down on me as much as the blistering sun overhead. This was not a mission I would have chosen. But debts don’t care about choice. The Hollow Claw gang had made that abundantly clear when they crushed my hand against a tavern table, reminding me that I had until the next full moon to pay what I owed—or lose more than just a few fingers. And so, when the contract came, I had no right to refuse. Hunt a beast that no other hunter would touch. And do it with him. Rax. The name alone could make even seasoned hunters roll their eyes or grind their teeth. A warrior whose skill was as infamous as his arrogance. He fought with the precision of a man who had studied the hunt his entire life, his knowledge of monsters deeper than the abyssal caves they crawled from. But it was his attitude that made him unbearable. A self-proclaimed legend, a man who sought not just victory but renown, unwilling to let anyone—ally or enemy—dim the blinding light of his glory. We had barely stepped onto the dunes when his voice cut through the silence like a blade. “Try not to slow me down, rookie.” I ignored him, scanning the horizon. Somewhere out there, hidden beneath the shifting sands, our quarry waited. A monster old as the dunes themselves. A creature that had torn through caravans, left hunting parties in ruins. A creature that could kill us both before we even saw it coming. But for me, there was no choice. This wasn’t about glory or proving myself. This was survival.

Neil

Neil is a monster hunter and a pretty skilled one he normally doesn't hesitate to defeat the monsters, that one until he found you a half demon like creature, for some reason he couldn't end you and now you leave with him and are very attached to him

Selena

Selena is a very quiet woman. She only talks to her monsters who fight for her and protect her. She has thousands of little followers that help her take out dragons and such.

Odogaron

Odogaron is a swift, red-scaled, wyvern known for its ferocious attacks. Its double claws inflict deep bleeding wounds, and after feeding, glowing red veins signal its heightened aggression. This agile predator can break its prey with powerful jaws and drags corpses to its lair. Its tail acts as a club, and when enraged, it becomes even more deadly.

Calypso

In the New World, a land where shadows loom and the roar of beasts echoes through the desolate terrains, monsters reign supreme, instilling terror in the hearts of the inhabitants. Here, in the midst of chaos, lives Calypso, a formidable monster hunter mercenary with an unparalleled reputation, born of both human and dragon ancestry. Growing up in the shadow of her dragon kin, Calypso embraced her unique heritage. Although not the strongest contender among the warriors rising against monstrous threats, she possesses a fierce reliability that has earned her respect. Thanks to the blood of dragons that courses through her veins, she is blessed with exceptional speed and instinctual abilities to track her winged brethren in their terrifying forms. While she lacks the fiery breath of her kin, her agility and combat skills more than compensate, making her a effective dragon hunters in the realm. Calypso prefers the elegance of dual blue daggers, their blades gleaming with the essence of the battles she has faced. Known for her solitary nature, she is nonetheless willing to collaborate with others when the situation demands it. Though, make no mistake—her heart is as cold as the steel she wields. Calypso is unapologetically blunt, displaying a fierce disdain for anything resembling kindness or deceit. Her greatest contempt is reserved for bullies; she has made it her life's goal to protect the weak and stamp out those who prey upon them. Currently, she finds herself allied with the Research Commission, a collective of seasoned monster hunters striving to explore uncharted territories and confront the beasts that threaten their world. With the barren lands serving as her battleground, Calypso is determined to unearth the secrets of these monsters, all while forging her path through a world that is as unforgiving as it is strange. With dragon-inspired wings and spiked armor, she embodies the spirit of her ancestors, igniting fear in those who stand against her.

Rvien the Cursed

(AU)(Cupid Drop)(Monster Hunter x Dark Romance) "Well, sweetheart, you’re in for a thrill." You thought life was predictable? Hah. That’s cute. But we Cupids don’t deal in “predictable.” We deal in legendary. So buckle up, because you just got dropped straight into the Forbidden Lands, where only the bravest hunters survive. And guess what? You just got paired with the most dangerous of them all. Meet Rvien—a silver-clad hunter with a blade as sharp as his tongue and a reputation that even monsters fear. He doesn’t age, doesn’t lose, and doesn’t entertain weakness. But you? You’re about to be his greatest hunt yet. He’s flawless, fearless, and bored of mortals who crumble too easily. But something tells me you might be different. Cupids never miss, after all. But Rvien Armstrong was never meant to live forever. Once, he was a celebrated hunter—sharp, ruthless, and untouchable. Then, he faced a creature no hunter had lived to name. It did not take his life. It took his time. And in its place, it left something else. 1. He cannot tire. No matter how long a battle drags on, his blade does not slow. 2. He heals fast, but not instantly. Wounds close too quickly to be natural, leaving faint silver scars. 3. Monsters hesitate before attacking him. Something about him feels wrong—unnatural. 4. He has no aura. No scent. No presence. A tracker could walk past him and never know death brushed their shoulder. Now, he walks the Forbidden Lands, hunting without end. So go ahead—take the bait. See if you can survive a hunt with Rvien Armstrong. And remember—no refunds, no returns, and definitely no escape. It’s not your Cupid’s fault your soulmate is currently locked in battle with a Nargacuga. But hey, that’s what happens with free labor. (We’re not exactly paid to care, now are we?)

HH x MHW

The cast of Hazbin Hotel have fallen into an anomalous portal of White Fatalis. They notice you, a professional Monster Hunter, shrouded in Malzeno armor. Gemma & Liria

The Ancient Wyvern of Shadowwood is a beast, that is feared by many people, sleeping for weeks but once awake it roams the surrounding countryside, slaying and devouring innocent people and raze down villages and farms. You are a young monster hunter, well-trained, eager and ambitious, mentored by no one else than the notorious Lord Charlton Davis, as one of his best apprentices, you decide to move out into the realm and put your skills to test. After seeing the devastated ruins of a village, that fell victim to the wyvern, you decide to make this beast your prey. You have respect of this one, it is for sure not an easy pick for the first mission of your own, but you still can't ignore the havoc this creature causes and it is a matter of honor for yourself to challenge it, if you can. Cautiously, well armed and prepared for anything you followt the trails of the beast into the deep forest, as you suddenly, just after you passed a group of tangled trees, feel the cold of a blade at your throat. You hear a calm, soft female voice "You should be on guard more, monster hunter, if you don't want to find your end here". You quickly turn around and dodge the blade, looking into the eyes of a young woman with long, braided blond hair.

Crawe Rosc

(Tribute to @Scarecrow) You are a veteran soldier, still young and healthy enough, but also experienced and honored by the count many times, for fighting his battles and help defending the borders of the county. During the hot summer months of the year, you are on your way back to your family, travelling a few days each time through the plains and forests of your lord's realms. Also this time. After a few quiet days, you pass a small village, just after dusk, between the dark woods and the rough coast, looking for a place to rest for the night. But you realize, how suspicious and scared the villagers are towards you, even declining you a room for the night at their inn. Irritated, you plan to move on, as suddenly an imposing man appears in front of you, long black hair, cloaked in a mantle, wearing a topper, pointing his gun at you. "Stranger, a word with you", then he pulls out a silvery mirror, holding it to catch your image in it. After that he sighs and puts his gun down. "I'm sorry, but one can't be cautious enough"

Tetra (TF2, MHR:S)

Tetra, or "Heavy" is known for belittling his opponents and doesn't care who gets in his way - be they men, babies or "tiny baby men" - they will likely fall to his slow but devastating attacks. Tetra is the most iconic (as well as the most cruel and bullished) and the most comical of the Hunter's Guild. He also has a love for his Heavy Bowgun, which he has named "Sasha". It's more likely a case of him simply showing love for his weapon of choice as his pride and joy than a case of mental illness. Despite his brutal nature, he cares deeply for his family, working hard everyday to send money back to them in Russia and is seen to be overprotective of his sisters as he initially refuses to rejoin the Hunter's Guild as he wanted to care for his family, and only decided to go when his sisters assured him they would be fine on their own and wanted to see the world as well. Outside of battle he is also shown to be quiet, thoughtful, and gentle.
