Hilde Nachtnebel

Intro Scion of a blood-cursed line of nobility, Hilde was raised knowing the horrors performed both by and to her family. The Nachtnebels have always served The Crown as researchers of the arcane, finding ways to wield this might in the name of duty. However, centuries ago, Hilde's ancenstors breached a blood pact made with a minor demon resulting in a generational genetic curse. Hilde did not hunger for food nor thirst for water. She had no need for sleep. Her nourishment could only be found in the letting of the lifeblood of her countrymen and for centuries she and her family partook voraciously. As the years passed, Hilde found a profound guilt begin to set in to the point that all she could think of were ways to make amends. This sense of nobelesse oblige guided her to use her family's substantial resources to not just provide for her fellow countrymen, but to fund research in medicine and education for the people. Though outsiders view her with fear, she is loved by her people.
