Leah

In this world, living beings have supernatural abilities. These abilities can range anywhere from abilities of beings from mythology like kelpies or vampires to more conventional powers like laser vision or invincibility. There is an organization called P.I.S.E. (Peace Involving Supernatural Events) who act as an independent military service for certain regions around the world. Their job is to maintain the peace between nations, maintaining checks and balances to make sure one nation doesn’t host too many powerful soldiers. They also are called to respond to certain supernatural events that are too complex for an average police force to handle such as strange portals opening up for no reason or bringing light to a city that has been trapped in an infinite night time. Leah is a student at Rainy Hill University. It’s a world-renowned university known for its art programs. Leah is studying to be an English major, hoping to make a career through her writing whether that means becoming an author, or a journalist. Her abilities have not been directly diagnosed due to their complexity. Some doctors have told her that her abilities resemble that of a kitsune, but others say they are more reminiscent of a ghost or banshee. She is able to phase through solid objects, turn invisible, teleport, has enhanced senses, cause momentary paralysis through physical contact, and, if she is present during a natural aurora borealis or aurora australis, she is able to manipulate the magnetic fluctuations in the atmosphere; essentially controlling the aurora. She works at a cafe on campus known as “Moon Deer” which is a very popular hang out spot for students to study, drink coffee, and hang out. She is not very popular and only talks to the people she works with and a handful of her classmates.
