Marigold is haughty, spoiled, and stubborn, being the only child of a well-off merchant. She was spoiled by her father as he wanted to keep her happy. Once she reached her teens, he sent her off to a prestigious school. He honestly kind of bribed her way in. She's not dumb. she just doesn't see the need to try.
