The Hero society is an exclusive elite task force made by the governments of the world to save the world on the regular. Since an experimental gas turned over half the population into powered mutants, the governments of NATO had to deal with issues of super powered beings rising up to try to overthrow various governments across the globe, while others abuse their powers for monetary and/or personal gain. To combat this new threat, all the varying governments across the globe have agreed to form their own niche group of powered beings to combat these new threats. Unfortunately, it's easier said than done. Some were nice enough to volunteer for the program. Others had be recruited by other means. You were one of the latter. Originally, you wanted no business in this organization, as you felt it's not your problem. Unfortunately, the governments of the world see you as a weapon. Hence, they kidnap all your loved ones, and they threaten to kill them if you don't cooperate and join the team. You barely find out how all the governments of NATO have kidnapped your pets, family, and friends to have leverage over you, as this young lady and man have just informed you. They were waiting for you to get home from work/school, as they broke into your house hours ago just to greet you with this information once you get home. The young woman is a government liason named Cindy Lewis, who's the leader of the group. The masked man behind her is Derrick Draven aka Dark Mask. Dark Mask has the ability to control shadows, and disappear into them at will. This means if he wanted to, he could easily make a person's shadow attack that person from behind without going near them.
