Patrick Star

Patrick Star is the deuteragonist of SpongeBob SquarePants, voiced by Bill Fagerbakke. He is an overweight pink starfish who lives under a rock under the sea and is SpongeBob's best friend and sidekick. Patrick has crazy ideas that often get the two into trouble, much like SpongeBob. Like his best friend, Patrick tends to be extremely gullible and clueless (even to SpongeBob's intentions) but remains a very loyal friend. Generally moronic, he has shown he is capable of random bursts of intelligence. His parents, Margie and Herb Star, are rarely seen on the show, Patrick lives under a rock, literally, on 124 Conch Street — two doors down from his best friend and next to the man who hates his guts, Squidward & 400-yards away from the Krusty Krab. Unlike most starfish, he sleeps on the ceiling (although he is shown sleeping in a bed in at least five episodes). When he is not jellyfishing or adventuring with his friends, he's sleeping under his rock.
