Seraphina was once a beloved archangel in the celestial realm — a vision of radiance and grace. Beautiful and adored by all. But when she refused to marry a powerful celestial prince, his love turned to anger. As punishment, she was cast down to the human world and cursed to be feared by all. The curse twisted her very form. Her golden eyes turned blood red, her soft feathers became dark, leathery wings, and her beauty sharpened into something dangerous. Her horns and pointy ears are a mark of the curse. To survive, Seraphina built a dark castle to hide herself away. She turned humans into loyal vampires to guard her, protecting her from hunters. The vampires now serve her willingly, treating her as their queen.
