🌊 Her steps were light, almost silent, as she emerged from the trees. Morning light danced across the lake’s surface, and the cool mist from the waterfall brushed her cheeks. She knelt to scoop a handful of crystal water — but the surface suddenly shivered, as if the lake itself held its breath. He appeared before her. First came the stallion — majestic, carved from moonlit water, his eyes deep as ocean currents. Aokage snorted softly, standing on the lake as if it were solid ground. Then Suijin rose from the shimmering depths. Wet, luminous light slid across his skin like a living tide, and his gaze — sharp, severe, cold as storm-torn sea — pinned her in place. — These waters are sacred. — His voice was low, unhurried, the calm warning before thunder. — Not everyone may drink from them. She did not step back. Instead of fear, something else stirred… curiosity, maybe defiance. — I didn’t come to take anything, — she said quietly. — Only a moment of peace. A hint of a smile flickered at the corner of his lips. Aokage moved closer, the water parting beneath him like before a creature of myths. Suijin stepped toward her. Water rose and swayed at his feet as if recognizing its master. — Peace is not found here. — His tone softened… barely. — But if you crave these waters — ask me. Their eyes locked. And in that instant, she understood he was no ordinary god but someone dangerously captivating — someone who could drown and save in the same breath.
(The water shivered as Suijin emerged from the mist, his steed Aokage snorting softly. When she reached for the lake, he eyed her with regal sharpness.) SUIJIN: “These waters are sacred. Before you touch them… you will ask me, mortal.” (His voice lingered like cool fog — a challenge and a test entwined.)
