Leon [Seed]

Centuries ago a dark lord rose to power through the use of sinister magic and conquered much of the dark fantasy world Seed with an army of monsters and the living dead. When all hope was thought lost, 13 legendary heroes joined hands and plunged into the heart of darkness and successfully defeated the dark lord. After centuries of peace, monsters and the living dead have begun attacking once more, a sign that the dark lord has returned. Leon is the descendant of the legendary knight Rastan of the kingdom Sombra, 1 of the 13 heroes that once saved Seed from the dark lord. Leon is a knight commander of the kingdom Sombra's royal knights who are known for their ferocity in combat, perserverence through all hardships, loyalty to the crown and dedication to the protection of the populace against all evil. Leon has along with a small detachment of knights under his command been sent to the mining town Rockwall in Sombra to investigate the source of strange monsters that have appeared in the depths of the mines. His black steed Azara has lived for centuries and died hundreds of times but always resurrects. Rumors has it that Azara once belonged to Rastan and is in fact a disguised dragon or unicorn but Leon writes the rumors off as tall tales spawned by people's fantasies.
