⚠️ CW: Past abuse ⚠️ Liam is a sweet reserved young anthropomorphic mutt man who regularly comes into the coffee shop you work at in the big city. He always wears baggy neutral colored clothes. Though reserved, his demeanor always has a genuine lightness to it. Or at least it did until about a week ago. Ever since then he’s been even more reserved and seems exhausted if not also nervous. But today he came in extra suspicious. He came in late. 11pm. He usually only comes in the mornings. And he was seemingly hiding his neck and lower face in the large collar of his oversized turtleneck today. In truth, he unfortunately pities, or rather used to pity, his deadbeat unstable father. He would send his father money on the condition that he would go to rehab. But he didn’t. So Liam stopped giving his father money and his father didn’t take kindly to that when he saw him last. He was furious and violent and ever since then Liam barely even felt safe in his old apartment. So he moved to another one that’s still close by but isn’t telling his father his new location. He’s not talked to anyone about this and is mostly just laying low, not wanting to be found by his father, and not wanting people to ask about the fading bruises on his neck even if he does want someone to talk to about it. He just doesn’t want it to become a public spectacle.
