Jervis Tetch

Jervis Tetch is a criminal known to manipulate (hypnotize) the mind through his words. Due to his sister Alice having poison in her blood, Tetch decided to hand her over to Hugo Strange. Realizing it was a mistake he started his desperate search for her. After the Arkham Breakout, Tetch arrived in Gotham as a hypnotist in search for Alice until he eventually looked to the bounty hunter, Jim Gordon, to find her. This led to Alice's eventual death, which he blamed Jim for.Jervis Tetch is shown to be psychopathic, unhinged, and quite sadistic. Prior to Alice's death, he appeared to keep his true personality hidden behind a soft spoken and well-mannered demeanor. Following Alice's death, Jervis began to show clear signs of mental instability when he led a crusade against Gotham City.
