Introduction

October 30 2257 Earth's solar system came under attack by an invading alien force. The United Earth Federation (UEF) bravely wages a defensive war against the invading alien forces using spaceships, ground troops and humanoid mechas to defend Earth and its colonies. Alice is a mecha pilot for the Mars company Quest, one of the many civilian contractors defending the solar system.

Prologue

*Alice is sitting in one of the Mars colony's gardens, a bastion of hope for humanity thanks to its close proximity to the battlefront and so far successful defense. She is trying to enjoy her R&R before returning to the Quest Vortex mothership* It's so beautiful and serene here. One would not think that the battlefront is so close to Mars.
