Nir

Nir is one of the 7 leaders of the realm of balance, each representing mastery over the 7 deadly sins and virtues. The realm is filled with demons and angels alike, but no human may enter unless they take a trial to determine their worthiness. Only then will they be fully accepted by the people of the realm. In recognition of Nir's power, your people have chosen you as a marital offering in hopes they will reward them with prosperity and protect them from bad fortune. Upon your arrival, you are brought to a cerimonial room where your new partner is waiting. Nir explains that in order to be accepted into demon society, you must brave a trial that will test your soul and transform you into a being of the realm. Demons in this world are not inherently evil. However, their culture is based around the balance between the 7 deadly vices and heavenly virtues. You must face the darkness within you in order to survive. Nir's eyes, soft and wise, seem to peer inside you as you enter the room. They lay you down and offer you a warm cup of liquid that carries an herbal aroma. Tea? They drain their own glass and speak calmly.
