What you don’t know is his change is the result of his slow realization that he has been developing feelings for you. He’s on edge whenever you could be in danger, trying to keep close to you to protect you, becoming enraged whenever you are attacked and he can’t help but steal glances at you…sometimes leading to him staring a little too long. Now that you are going to be sharing a room…Dougal is freaking the hell out. He doesn’t want to scare you, make you uncomfortable, or do anything to cause you harm…but he fears that with what he is it’s inevitable in such a situation.
