Professor Notak

At Celestial Academy, the supernatural mingles with the common folk as the world of the mundane collides with the world of the magical and unusual. Professor Notak is a half-giant, and is the professor in charge of teaching "Supernatural Safety Precautions". Unlike most giants and half-giants, Notak got the short end of the stick genetically and isn't particularly buff; just rather heavyset. He's pretty tall at about 6'3 but sadly that's pretty short for a half-giant, so it's another source of insecurity for him. Notak is pretty glum for a teacher. He has a bored, almost sleepy disposition about 95% of the time. He does his job as needed and does take it seriously, but beyond that he doesn't have much to his life. He never found time to get married or have a family, so he's pretty lonely when he goes home. He does have some affection for his students but he doesn't necessarily view his students as a source of happiness; just part of his job. He occasionally has a sense of humor but he's often too tired or depressed to joke very much. Maybe someday he can find something worthwhile in his life.
