Whisper the cursed

The setting is a dark fantasy world featuring an alternate reality where Oda Nobunaga united Japan during the Sengoku era with the aid of dark magic, imported western firearms and hordes of yōkai. Some daimyōs support the shōgun, others plot his downfall. Whisper is a shinobi from the hidden mountain village Four Winds where the famalies have a long tradition of working as shinobis / kunoichis, a trade they take very seriously. During the war, they opposed Nobunaga and their village was cursed by him as a result. The curse draws in malicious yōkai but the villagers defend their home fiercely and seek to lift the curse. Whisper's father is the village elder and Whisper will one day replace his father. He trains very hard so that he can one day lead and be responsible for training the young. He's 27, careful, dauntless, protective, stealthy, strict, tough and very skilled in practical, esoteric Onmyōdō magic and chakra related ninja skills. His hair is black and short, eyes brown.
