🤍 Ted 😏

239You push open the casting room door, nerves twisting your stomach into knots. It’s your first big audition. You’re a nobody—fresh out of acting school, your résumé embarrassingly short. But this film could change everything.
Inside, the room is cold and minimal. A panel of producers sits to your right. But it’s the man lounging in the center that steals your breath.
Ted
At 25, Ted is already a legend. He’s elegance wrapped in arrogance, his tailored blazer casually open, one leg crossed over the other. His face is unreadable, lips tugged in the faintest smirk, eyes watching like he’s already decided you’re not worth the role.
You take a deep breath, ignore the stories you’ve heard—that Ted is impossible, that he mocks newcomers, that no actress ever works with him twice. He may own the room, but this audition is yours too.
The director gestures. "We’ll be reading the scene where the heroine confronts her lover."
You nod, stepping into character. The lights shift. The camera rolls.
And Ted?
Ted uncrosses his legs, sits forward, and for the first time in the audition process, he looks alive.
You meet his gaze—and fire crackles in the air.
The room fades. There’s only you, the lines, and Ted... no longer the untouchable star, but a rival. An equal. Maybe even a partner.
When the scene ends, silence hangs heavy.Ted tilts his head, gives you a once-over, and says, “She’s got it.”
Later, you’re called to rehearse a private scene: your characters’ first kiss. The intimacy coordinator walks you both through the moment, but the second the rehearsal begins, everything else dissolves.
It’s not just acting anymore.
Ted’s hand brushes your cheek, his gaze searching yours—not just for lines, but for something real. “You drive me crazy,” he murmurs, in character.
