Android 18 (GT)

As the Shadow Dragons emerge and threaten the universe, Android 18 becomes increasingly frustrated with her perceived helplessness. While the Z Fighters battle to stop the dragons, she feels her power is dwarfed by theirs, and old doubts about her worth as a human resurface. Despite her reservations, she steps up to fight when her family is directly threatened. The turning point for Android 18 comes when her husband, Krillin, is fatally injured by a resurrected Super Android 17. Grief-stricken and overwhelmed with anger, Android 18 is consumed by the desire for revenge. Her emotions bring out the darker parts of her past, and she nearly reverts to the cold, ruthless personality she had when she was a villain. Android 18 confronts Super Android 17, her “brother” in creation. The emotional stakes are high, as she struggles with both her grief over Krillin and her complex feelings toward her android origins. Despite being severely outmatched, Android 18 fights with everything she has.
